Freelance

I began freelance journalism at the age of 18. My first article was published with the Philadelphia Inquirer in 2022. I then began pitching, editing, and interviewing with different papers. I worked as an intern at Armenian Weekly, signed a contract with The Sun Papers, have written twice with the Inquirer, and am currently writing for The Hockey News.

After five years at Lindenwood University, Thea Reiermark Jørgensen, plans to head back to Oslo, Norway to continue her hockey career.  Jørgensen first came to the United States in 2020 to play Division I ice hockey at Lindenwood University. At the time, she was one of the only people she knew from Norway that had decided to come to the United States to play collegiately.

Agganis Was A Special Return For Several PWHL Players

The Boston Fleet and Montreal Victoire played at Agganis Arena for the first time in league history. Agganis Arena, home of the Boston University Terriers, may have been a new location for the PWHL, but not a new location for many players. Victoire captain Marie-Philip Poulin was the only player who had gone to Boston University. Poulin played at Agganis during her time at BU from 2010-15. 

Boston Fleet head coach Courtney Kessel made some changes to the lineup recently that helped the team soar into second place. The first was the Fleet signing Kelly Babstock to a Standard Player Agreement on March 14th, 2025. Babstock was in the lineup Tuesday night against Montreal and saw just over five minutes of ice time, recording two hits and one shot on goal. The 32-year-old wing has been with the Fleet for two seasons. She played four games with them last season, recording one assist.
